Might be hanging out with a friend soon. This friend is high risk and had already spent over a month in the hospital on a ventilator. Though we’re both vaxxed, for the safety of my friend, I figured I would order some test kits and make sure I’m Covid-free before we hang out.
Just finished another novella. 22,132 words and 100 pages. Very rough draft. Going to be a big cleanup job when I get to that, and probably going to completely rewrite a bunch of scenes. I feel like I’ve been working on this one forever and I’m tired of it.
There are a couple of anthology openings that I want to get something written for. The deadlines are fast approaching, so I’m going to hop to it.
Tigers beat the Guardians again. Thanks to Soto. Was some heat from Cleveland in the bottom of the 9th. Their manager was ejected, and one of their players tried to charge out of the dugout like he was going to kick some ass, but his teammates restrained him.

Saw plants growing in the gutter. Cleared them out. Also doing yardwork today. The grass hadn’t been growing much in the last several weeks, but now that we’ve been getting some rain. It’s about ready to be mowed again.
