Arby’s and ALCS

Advertisement really works, dudes. I kept seeing these Arby’s cheesesteak sandwiches while watching the games and I had to try one tonight. Had a DoorDasher bring one over. Damn good sandwich, and just right for watching the ALCS Game 6.

Astros just lost. The ALCS is tied now and one more game to go. Pulling for the Astros.

PS, today was not a good day to be a Lion.

Football

I didn’t see much of the game today. I looked in during the third quarter and saw the Bears had the Lions 24-10, and then I went back to bed. Now see the Lions scored 21 in the 4th quarter and beat the Bears, 31-30. That’s two wins in a row, and the season is now 3-6.

Yesterday, Michigan beat Nebraska, 34-3, but I didn’t see much of that game either.

Lions and Tigers

Lions won by one point. 27-26. I thought they played well. It was just a preseason game, but nice to have football back. I didn’t see last weeks’ game. I know they lost last week, but I hear they played very well.

Just switched over to Bally. Looks like Tigers won by one run. 4-3.

Football

Tigers are playing on another channel and I thought I would switch from game to game, watch some here and some there. But I can’t reach the remote control, so I’m just watching the Lions. The game is tied. 3rd Quarter just started.

8-17

Baez played real hard tonight, I thought. Did you see how he dirtied up his uniform? Though he didn’t make it in himself, he played a big part in getting in the second run for the Tigers. The Tigers still lost. The game finished up with 2-3.

They’re 8-17 for the season, so far. It’s looking like another losing season. But I can live with it. I’m just happy to have baseball. Though none of the Detroit teams have been showing much promise, they are and will always be my favorite teams. I will always love the Detroit Tigers, Lions, Pistons and Red Wings.
