I’m late this season. I’ve had a lot on my mind and didn’t feel like going through the pain in the ass DNR website. But I finally got around to ordering my deer license. Got a buck tag and a doe tag. I hope to get this monster buck this year. He’s shown himself on my ground at least a couple times.
The Astros just beat Rays again. It was very close there at the end and I went a bit crazy when the Astros won it. They are my number two team after all. One more win and the Astros will have the division. Then they’ll face either the Twins or the Yankees in the ALCS.
I hate the Yankees with passion. I like the Twins only about two or three centimeters more than I hate the Yankees. Maybe it’d be more fun to have the team I hate more play my number two team in the ALCS. So, I guess I’ll pull for the Yankees in their division. Not that they need me. The odds are in their favor, same as the Astros.
In the NLDS, The Cardinals and the Braves are 1-1, so are the Nationals and the Dodgers. I don’t care much for the Cardinals, but I like the Braves. I don’t like the Nationals, but I like the Dodgers. If the Dodgers and the Braves both with their NLDSs, it’ll be tough deciding who to root for in the NLCS.
Michigan beat Iowa earlier today. Michigan State did not manage to beat Ohio State. I hate the Buckeyes more than the Yankees. In fact, I hate the Buckeyes more than I hate the Cowboys and the Indians. I don’t think there’s a team in sports that I hate more than the Ohio State Buckeyes.
So, yeah, I’m disappointed that Sparty failed to wreck what’s looking like a perfect season for the Buckeyes.
I just finished a new novella. 18,430 words and 84 pages. It’s an international conspiracy thriller. It’s a rough draft and needs cleaning, but that will come later.
The American League wildcard game starts in an hour. The Tampa Bay Rays and the Oakland Athletics. In this game, I’m rooting for Oakland. I don’t have anymore shelled peanuts, but I have plenty of beer. Don’t worry, I won’t be hungry, ’cause I’m cooking pork chops.
The Brewers did not win last night, so the Nationals will face the Dodgers in the NLDS.
The National League wildcard game started. The Milwaukee Brewers and the Washington Nationals. I got cheap beer and shelled peanuts, and I’m rooting for the Brewers.
Well, the Tigers finished their season today. I didn’t see the game, I was at my mom and dad’s watching the Lions. But I checked the score when I got home and see the Tigers lost. I was hoping they could win one more.
This was a rough season and the Tigers finished in last place, so they won’t be in the playoffs. As usual, I’m a bit sad that another Tiger season has ended. I look forward to Spring Training 2020.
I’m rooting for Justin Verlander & the Astros in the playoffs. The Astros finished in first place again. They will play either Tampa Bay or Oakland in the ALDS, depending on who wins the wildcard game. The ALDS starts October 4.
