I done seen it with my own eyes. The Lions managed to not lose today. Beating the Packers, 15-9. That was some pretty desperate last minute playing there.
The Houston Astros just won the World Series. I wonder if this is it for Justin Verlander’s career as a player. He’s reminding me of Kevin Costner’s character, Billy Chapel, in the movie “For the Love of the Game”. The other night when Verlander pitched to his former teammate, Nick Castellanos, it was like the scene from the movie, when Billy Chapel is pitching to his former teammate and he’s thinking, “When did we get so old?”
Also saw Michigan beat Rutgers 52-17. The Wolverines are now 9-0 for the season.
God did something right when He gave us these lawnmowers with mulch bags on ’em. Ain’t no one gotta rake leaves no more.
Flashbacks today. Of all the times police have detained me for walking with cerebral palsy. And I’m reminded of an article that a cop I know had posted on Facebook a few years ago. This article was written by a cop and it was about how police see everyone else as criminals, liars and troublemakers.
I don’t want to believe that every cop shares that outlook, but assuming it’s true, if all cops really see everyone else as a problem, wouldn’t it be fair that a lot of people see the police as a problem?
I meant to post earlier, but got distracted. Tigers beat the Royals again, 10-3. This makes the winning streak six.
They play the Twins tomorrow. Six more games left.
For me, riding the bus was the hardest part about going to school. To this day, I hate buses and refuse to ride them. A lot happens on buses and no one does anything about it.
