Happy Super Bowl Sunday. I’m down with the 49ers. Will be going to Mom and Dad’s to watch.
The Pistons and Nets were tied, 106-106, and went into overtime, which ended with the Nets winning, 121-111.
I soaked chicken in Open Pit honey flavored barbeque sauce before broiling it. It wasn’t bad.
Made it to the end of Inception today. Good movie. Might watch it again.
The Packers are not going to the Super Bowl. The 49ers beat the cheese out of them. I’ll root for the 49ers in the Super Bowl, but if the Chiefs win, I would be okay with that.
It was a few inches deep. I finished up in time to catch the last couple minutes of the Chief-Titan game. The Chiefs are going to the Super Bowl. The Packers and 49ers start in a few minutes, on Fox.
I’m hungry. I’m going to make hamburgers.
I’ll never forget this game. When Jordan Poole won the game for Michigan as the last second ticked off. That was in 2018, the year Michigan made it to the championship game and lost to Villanova.
I remember how I freaked out when Poole made that shot. I’d say that was one of the greatest moments in NCAA basketball.
Jordan Poole now plays for the Golden State Warriors.
Wrote five new pages into the novel. Edited five pages of a short story. Might get more work into the novel and story tonight. Went out to eat with Dad. I had Lake Smelt and Fries, which was mostly good, but then one of the smelt pieces had something funny about it and I damn near threw up on the table. Instead the Godzilla of burps blasted out of my mouth. It was embarrassing, but I survived.
I got a new order from the Brower Farms today. I really, really love the cuts of meat I get from these guys. I don’t like buying meat from the grocery store anymore, because I have a hard time finding satisfying cuts. The guys at the Brower Farms know how to cut meat satisfyingly.
I’d say it was a good day.
Red Wings at 7:30.
That was a good game. The Pistons beat the Celtic, 116-103. But I wish the Pistons didn’t miss their foul shots so much.
The Packers are going to the Conference. So are the Titans, Chiefs and 49ers. I fine weekend of football, it was.
