It’s for real this time! Baseball is back!
We’re gonna be okay.
Just got home. My dad gave me a new mask and I just happened to be wearing one of my Tiger shirts. About half of the people at Home Depot in Burton were wearing masks, though a few of them had their noses hanging over the tops of their masks. The other half were in the “I don’t wanna” category.
I got an email from Gov. Whitmer today. She says tattoo shops can open now. I’m gonna get another tattoo soon.
I don’t know what’s going on. Tigers.com and MLB.com are both showing on their schedule pages that the season starts tomorrow. But at the same time, there seems to be no agreement between the Players Association and the League.
Holy shit! Two more days and baseball is back! The Tigers will play the White Sox Tuesday night!
Life is good again!!!
Kevin Harvick wins today.
Motorsports are my thing while baseball is still out. Haven’t missed a NASCAR race since they started a few weeks ago, and last night I watched the first IndyCar race.
That was Game 7. The Houston Astros just lost the World Series and the Washington Nationals won. I guess this was the Nationals’ first World Series. So, congratulations to them, though they weren’t my team.
Well, that’s it for baseball 2019. Football, basketball and hockey will have to do until Spring Training 2020.
I’m trying to get back to blogging at least once a day. I was derailed for a week or so.
Yesterday my brother came over to watch the World Series Game 1. We missed the first half hour because I wanted to watch “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”. If there’s a Charlie Brown special on, I have to watch it.
I cooked a pasta-burger mix and there was plenty for both of us.
Well, I’m having a slow day, but I got some work done. Going to cook steak. Game 2 starts at 8.
That was beautiful. The Astros are going to the World Series. It was the bottom of the 9th. The Yankees were picking up their game and the score was 4-4. There were two outs when Jose Altuve hit the ball so high and far I thought it would leave the stadium.
The Astros will face the Nationals in the World Series.
I love baseball.
